Dear Students and Families
Welcome to 2022 at the Con!  We hope you all had some really lovely time together over the holiday season and are raring to go with music making again.  Our teachers are all looking forward to seeing you again and meeting our new students.  We have a beautiful year planned, brimming with lots of events and opportunities to get involved.  To do our best to keep our lovely Con community safe, our Covid-Safe Guidelines 2022 have been updated and attached for your information.

COVID-SAFE GUIDELINES 2022

NRC has implemented these important guidelines for face-to-face lessons and entry to our building to help keep our community safe and well.

We appreciate your attention to our COVID-SAFE guidelines:

  1. YOUR HEALTH Please do not attend lessons or appointments if:
    1. you have tested positive to COVID-19
    2. you are a close contact of a person who has tested positive to COVID-19 and are required to isolate
    3. you or any member of your household is unwell

A zoom lesson can be arranged as an alternative OR a make-up lesson scheduled for a later date. (Please see Conditions of Enrolment).

  1. WEAR A FACE MASK – over the age of 12, all students, staff and visitors are required to wear a face mask onsite at NRC. Masks may be removed in the teaching studio for the purposes of demonstration or playing your instrument. (Please refer to Studio Guidelines)
  2. PHYSICAL DISTANCING of 1.5 metres must be maintained at all times.
  3. Please arrive NO SOONER than 5 mins prior to lesson or appointment times.
  4. SANITISE – please sanitise your hands prior to lessons or appointments.
  5. YOUR SAFETY – Tutors and staff will carry out a sanitising process to all shared resources and high touch surfaces between students’ lessons. (eg. door handles, piano/keyboards, stands, desks, chairs). NB: music stands are for individual use only during lessons or rehearsals.
  6. LEAVE DIRECTLY AFTER LESSONS – students are asked to leave the building as soon as possible after their lessons.
