About NRC

The Northern Rivers Conservatorium (NRC) is one of 17 regional conservatoriums across NSW funded through the NSW Department of Education’s Regional Conservatorium Grants Program.   As a member of the Association of NSW Regional Conservatoriums the education, participation and performance activities of NRC make a significant contribution to the educational, cultural, social and economic vibrancy of Lismore, the broader Northern Rivers and regional NSW.

NRC is well known and well regarded as a key cultural, education and community organisation and the largest single provider of quality music education in the Northern Rivers.

We aim to create a community of people who are happily committed to pursuing the art of music making to their highest capacity through the provision of quality, accessible music education to residents of the Northern Rivers region.
