The Northern Rivers Conservatorium aims to provide a supportive music education experience that embraces diversity. To deliver this, we are seeking an all-round support superstar to join our small core team who work behind the scenes to ensure we can continue to deliver excellent Community Music and Music in Schools programs.

The Superstar, or Organisation Support Officer, will be responsible for providing efficient support across all facets of the Northern Rivers Conservatorium to enable it to function as effectively as possible. This includes providing customer service support, administration, support for finance, operations, event management and everything in between. It’s likely no two days will look the same so you will need to be flexible and adaptable.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong experience in general administration supporting a small team
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Self-motivation and the ability to deliver outcomes with minimal supervision
  • High attention to detail in following procedures and instructions

And very importantly:

  • A willingness to jump in and do whatever is needed


Essential Criteria

  1. Strong experience in a general administration role supporting a small team
  2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated experience delivering great customer service
  3. Strong organisational skills with a proven ability to prioritise tasks and work across multiple projects
  4. High level of self-motivation, self-discipline, initiative and demonstrated ability to undertake tasks and deliver outcomes with minimal supervision
  5. Flexibility and the desire to take on new tasks and achieve results
  6. Proficient in the use of standard office software (e.g. Microsoft Office suite)

Desirable Criteria

  1. Basic understanding of accounts and financial reports and ability to use a financial accounting system
