Live from the iconic Sydney Opera House, the Sydney Symphony Orchestra will mark Australia’s first flagship event in the international Make Music Day celebration with a global broadcast of our Verdi’s Requiem concert on Thursday, 21 June – 6.30pm AEST.

Wherever you are, there are a number of ways you can join us for the Verdi’s Requiem livestream.
Online via the Sydney Symphony Orchestra
The livestream will be available online and free of charge via watch.sydneysymphony.com on Thursday, 21 June – 6.30pm AEST. The broadcast will be live from the Sydney Opera House, and accessible for 24 hours following the conclusion of the concert.

The concert will also be broadcast at Sydney Olympic Park, and in regional libraries across New South Wales, including Armidale, Cessnock, Canowindra, Maitland, Parkes, Tamworth, Taree, Tumut, Wagga Wagga and more.

What is international Make Music Day?
Originally launched in 1982 as Fête de la Musique in France, Make Music Day is an annual global event which sees music lovers across 800 cities in 120 countries come together to celebrate music.
