Dear Students and Families

The Northern Rivers Conservatorium will resume lessons onsite from Monday 11 October.  The NSW Government’s Reopening NSW plan will come into effect on Monday 11 October and remain in place until 1 December.

From the beginning of the pandemic, the Conservatorium’s focus has been on making our best contribution to positive public health outcomes, ongoing engagement in music education and providing ongoing employment for our teachers.

Collectively, our community of teachers, admin staff, students and families have done an amazing job of keeping the music flowing at our beloved Con. My hope for the remainder of this year is that we make as much music together as possible, contributing positively to the lives of our staff, students and families.

Please find updated guidelines for face-to-face lessons and entry to the NRC building.  Entry to the building is subject to your agreement to the guidelines which are in line with the current public health order.

Under the Reopening NSW guidelines, full vaccination for everyone 16 years and older is a requirement for entry to the building.  The Conservatorium respects our community’s personal choices and we are more than happy to continue to offer music tuition online.  Please let your tutor and admin know if you would prefer to continue in an online platform during this time.

We know that our community of staff, students, families and stakeholders will continue to look after each other.

Please contact u should you have any questions or concerns.

Kind regards

Anita Bellman

Executive Director
