We are pleased to inform you that the Northern Rivers Conservatorium will throw open its doors in 2021. Thank you to our Conservatorium community of students, families and staff for your support in embracing the 2020 COVID-Safe practices.
Over the past year we have all adapted to COVID-Safe practices becoming a part of our daily life. Additionally, “there have been no new confirmed cases of locally acquired COVID-19 reported in Northern NSW Local Health District residents since 25 July (2020)”. (Northern NSW Local Health District Website 5/1/2021 – accessed 25/1/2021).
Given the above, we have developed new guidelines for the provision of music tuition at the Northern Rivers Conservatorium campus in Lismore which will allow for an onsite experience closer to that of pre-COVID times.
The new guidelines:
- have been devised to ensure the safety of all NRC personnel;
- adhere to advice from the NSW State & Australian Federal Governments, NSW Department of Health, NSW Department of Education and Safework NSW;
- are informed by a thorough risk assessment undertaken by the Management and Board of NRC; and
- operate in conjunction with the Northern Rivers Conservatorium Pandemic Policy.
All persons attending the Conservatorium building for the purposes of delivering or receiving one-on-one music tuition are asked to respect and adhere to the new guidelines.
If you have concerns regarding these guidelines, please direct your correspondence to Anita Bellman, Executive Director at firstname.lastname@example.org
We look forward to welcoming you all back for music tuition in 2021 with doors wide open!
