Latest information for NRYO 2018 participants

We are looking forward to three wonderful days of workshops with NRC tutors, visiting tutors, buddies from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, and all of our NRYO 2018 participants.

 

Please be sure to arrive on time and to follow all instructions so that we can get the most out of the three days.

NRYO 2018 Schedule

Tuesday July 10Juniors: 8:30am - 2:30pm
Seniors: 8:30am - 5pm
Wednesday July 11Juniors: 8:30am - 2:30pm

Thursday July 12Everyone: 8:30am - End of Concert
Public Concert 6:30pm @ Lismore City Hall

Secret Chef pop-up diner, 5pm – 6:15pm in the forecourt outside City Hall
 

 

  1. All workshops are held at the Conservatorium, which is located on the corner of Keen and Magellan Streets, Lismore. Limited parking is available behind the Conservatorium
  2. Please ensure you arrive in plenty of time for sessions to commence as scheduled.
  3. Morning and afternoon tea of fruit and water are provided. Participants are asked to bring their own lunch.  On Thursday The Secret Chef will provide a delicious, affordable Italian inspired pop-up diner in the forecourt of Lismore City Hall for participants to share dinner with their families before the concert from 5 – 6:15pm.
  4. On the Thursday students will walk from Northern Rivers Conservatorium to Lismore City Hall supervised by tutors and volunteers.
  5. Attire for the Thursday night concert is strictly LONG black pants or LONG black skirt with a white shirt for seniors and a single coloured long-sleeved shirt in a colour of your choice for juniors. Students will not be permitted to perform if they are wearing shorts or a short skirt. They also require black shoes and socks.
  6. Please ensure students’ music is presented in a BLACK display folder.
  7. Concert tickets can be purchased. Tickets are $16 for the general public, $12 Concession / Child, and $42 for a family. Ticket can be purchased via our website or by following this link – https://www.eventbrite.com.au/o/northern-rivers-conservatorium-17196561154
  8. It is expected that participants will conduct themselves in an appropriate manner. If students are permitted by their parents to leave the grounds of the Conservatorium during the lunch break, a signed note must be presented to James Rendall.
