Community Music
Community Music is just that – music for the whole community. Whether you are 18 months old or 81 years old, there is something for you at your Conservatorium. We offer everything from group classes in Early Childhood Music, to individual tuition in the instrument of your choice, through to a wide range of ensemble and choir opportunities.
Music in Schools
Our Music in Schools program exists to provide students with access to quality music education with Conservatorium tutors during school hours at their school. Our professionally qualified and dedicated tutors provide one on one, small group, and ensemble tuition, in response to the particular needs of the school community.
Childhood Music
Our Early Childhood Music department is committed to ensuring that all children have access to the benefits of music education from early in life. As well as our continuum of classes from Sprouts through to Saplings, we offer regular professional development workshops for Early Childhood Educators and Primary School Teachers in early stage one.

Enhanced accessibility & complete refurbishment
The refurbishment of the Northern Rivers Conservatorium’s historic building will improve access for all members of the community through the installation of a lift and internal ramps. There will also be an upgrade of all amenities. The teaching, administrative and public spaces will be refurbished so that the physical space reflects the excellence of the Conservatorium’s music education, presentation and participation activities.
