The Northern Rivers Conservatorium is located in the heart of the Lismore CBD and in the recent devastating flood, waters surged right the ground floor of its heritage building reaching over five feet in height at the front and close to seven feet at the rear.

The reality is that many of our families will be experiencing extreme financial pressure for months to come and we want to do all we can to support our Conservatorium community to maintain their music education and engagement with the Conservatorium during this time.

The Conservatorium brings hundreds of students and their families into the CBD of Lismore weekly. Helping a family to fund a student’s fees is not just assistance for the student and family but injects valuable dollars into the local economy, helps keep teachers employed and keeps the Con viable. At the Con we also believe that a music education has positive outcomes for other areas of learning such as English and Maths. Positive learning outcomes then result in confident young people continuing education and making positive contributions to our community. Your support at this time is greatly appreciated.

Any additional funds raised will go towards the cost of repair and refurbishment of the building’s ground floor.

We appreciate any support you are able to give to our Flood Fee Relief campaign through donation and sharing with your contacts.
